Are you looking for soap products that are all natural, organic, handmade, nontoxic, chemical free, cold process made, artisanal, vegan, and not found in your local supermarket? Arsai Soap offers handmade soaps made in Bziza, Lebanon, a Mediterranean adjacent community in the North of Lebanon by local village women. These women use traditional Lebanese soap making techniques passed down over many generations. The Olive Oil used to make our soaps is created using olives harvested from our family owned olive groves located near the Mediterranean Sea.

Who is Arsai Soap?

We are a sisters (in-law) owned manufacturer and supplier of natural handcrafted soaps made in Lebanon, with our own olive oil. One sister oversees the Lebanon operation, hiring very talented local women to make cold-processed traditional soaps, with modern plant-based fragrances, designs, and color. The other sister, in Michigan, oversees the sales, logistics, and distribution of our soaps within the US, as Julia & Julian, LLC.

What Makes Us Special?
We own the olive trees our olives are harvested from. Most of our olive trees are ancient, some estimated to be 1,000-6,000 years old. Our handcrafted soap is of the highest quality, balancing lather with moisturizing properties, and comes in a variety of unique designs and natural fragrances. We also own the plant where are olive oil is processed. We then take the olive oil and cold-process it into our traditional olive oil soaps. We oversee the entire process from the harvesting of olives to the delivery of soaps to our customers. It's Arsai Soap from start to delivery.
Why Arsai Soap?
You may be wondering how we got our name, Arsai? In Phoenician (the ancestors of all Lebanese people) mythology, Arsai was the name of a Phoenician Goddess, also known as "She of the Earth." We believe all women should be celebrated as goddesses therefore we chose to honor all the goddesses of our past, along with the current and future generation of goddesses by naming our company Arsai Soap. We honor our goddesses through our traditional handcrafted soap making techniques.
What are the benefits of all natural, plant based soaps?
At Arsai our natural handcrafted soaps rely on traditional ingredients such as  olive oil, essential oils and water, along with the plants, herbs, and flowers. There are plenty of advantages that come with using our soaps including:

Why Lebanons Olive Trees?
When one wishes to speak of a tree thousands of years old and crowned with mystery, that gives oil with which kings are anointed and the faithful confirmed, then it is to the olive tree that one refers. And olive trees are synonymous with Bziza, for Bziza is entirely covered with this sacred emblem.
The olive tree is native to Lebanon, with cultivation of the olive tree beginning in Lebanon in Phoencian times. In fact, the oldest olive trees in the world are located in one of Lebanon's northern villages. It is believed that they are 6000 years old (which would make them not only the oldest olive trees in the world, but the oldest trees in the world)!

What makes Arsai Soap the best choice in soap products?
Our olive oil is processed by Arsai, ourselves, from trees located in our family owned olive groves. We like to see the process from the  from the selection of the olives, to the production of the oil, to the addition into our soaps, to having direct contact with our customers, to packaging, and shipping. This way we can ensure our soaps are exactly how we want them, the best olive oil soaps possible for our customers.
